Despite the abundance of talented students emerging from our high schools, funding has consistently fallen short of need. Having already supported hundreds of exceptional young people through our own resources, Trybe Ubuntu reflects our deliberate commitment to expanding access to tertiary education for indigenous talent.
We do this in two ways: by acting as a primary donor, and by channeling scholarships from a broader network of partners and donors. Our Independent Trustees and Committees provide strict control and oversight through open registry of donors and funds, regular audits, transparent fund reporting, and objective selection, and direct allocation (without intermediation or interruption), ensuring that every contribution from Trybe itself, individual donors, or institutional partners is allocated with integrity and to the most deserving candidates.

Sarpong Family Scholarship
Coverage
tuition and academic fees for First Class undergraduate students in Business who demonstrate financial need. Funds may also support essential academic materials where applicable. (undergraduate & graduate)
Bioh Architectural Fellowship
Coverage
sustainability-focused academic or design projects within Architecture, Building Technology, or Landscape Design programs. The grant may cover model development, research materials, or fieldwork expenses. (Undergraduate)
Bright Osei-Mensah Mathematics Grant
Coverage
tuition or approved academic-related expenses for Mathematics students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and need- based criteria. (undergraduate)
Tiwaa Medical Scholarship
Coverage
tuition or educational support for first-year professional students in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, or Veterinary Medicine. Funding may also cover lab materials or essential learning tools. (undergraduate - General)
Dr. Elias Megbetor Economics Scholarship
Coverage
tuition or undergraduate research in Economics and Financial Economics. Funding may be applied to research data collection, analysis tools, or academic publishing costs. (Undergraduate)
Leonard Kyei Statistics Grant
Coverage
tuition or data-driven research projects in Statistics and Data Science. The award may cover software licenses, research datasets, or field survey expenses. (Undergraduate)
Richard Kojo Abban Law Fellowship
Coverage
tuition and professional certification fees for First Class LLB graduates admitted into recognized law schools or post- bachelor legal programs. (Professional Law Course)
Aikins Actuarial Fellowship
Coverage
tuition support for Actuarial Science students, which may also be applied toward actuarial examination registration, preparatory materials, or relevant certifications.
Mya Theadora Tech Scholarship
Coverage
tuition assistance or project funding for Computer Science, Information Technology, and Management Information Systems students. Funds may also be applied to support innovation labs, hardware, or software subscriptions. (Undergraduate)
Royalties Vanguard Scholarship
Coverage
tuition or project funding for Family and Consumer Sciences students. The award may also support fieldwork, internships, or research on nutrition, family welfare, or consumer well- being. (Undergraduate)
Juramoth Women’s Diversity Scholarship
Coverage
project funding for initiatives that empower women through education, entrepreneurship, advocacy, or community development. Funds may support training, outreach programs, or capacity- building workshops. (Undergraduate)
Achievers Engineering Scholarship
Coverage
support for undergraduate research, prototype development, or innovation projects in any field of Engineering. Funding may cover materials, testing, or participation in research competitions. (Undergraduate – General Engineering)
Vusi Thembekwayo Entrepreneurship & Innovation Scholarship
Coverage
start-up or innovation funding for students leading entrepreneurial ventures. Funds may be used for prototype development, market validation, or community impact expansion. (Undergraduate)
D.O.O Agric/Agribusiness Scholarship
Coverage
project support to students managing or developing agric-based enterprises. The funding may be used for seed inputs, equipment, or business model development.
Eli Dei Leadership Fellowship
Coverage
Leadership Impact Honor - recognition and support of excellence among undergraduate students. Funds may be applied toward leadership projects, conferences, or community impact initiatives. (Undergraduate)
